Situated along the Stones River, this community landmark features a visitor center and marked trails along Civil War battlefields. Another fantastic park is Barfield Crescent Park, a leafy 430-acre community park with hiking trails, sports fields, camping sites, and a golf course.
 
Golfers look no further than Old Fort Golf Course for an incredible golfing experience on a well-maintained course along the banks of the Stones River and adjacent to the Fortress Rosecrans. Those looking to tee off here will find a challenging 7,086-yard course with six sets of tees. The course has hosted several championship events, including collegiate and Tennessee PGA Section tournaments. After a day of golfing, head to Hop Springs, or Hop Springs Beer Park, to visit a world-class brewery sitting on 83 acres. Enjoy sampling crafted beers inside the taproom and afterward explore the grounds, which feature a disc golf course, walking trails, a dog park, and a creek that winds along the property.
